Spectrum Sensors & Controls Inc. was founded in October 2005 with the acquisition of JDK Controls, Inc. which is referred to as our Precision Position Sensors operation. SS&C continued their external growth stategy by acquiring Advanced Thermal Products which is now referred to as our Advanced Thermal Products operation in July 2006. Spectrum Sensors and Controls is headquartered in Spectrum Control's new State College, PA facility. State College, PA is known for the location of Penn State University and the center of the beautiful state of Pennsylvania.

Spectrum Sensors and Controls has become a leader in providing solutions where the potentiometer and position sensor is critical to the customer's system. All Spectrum Sensors & Controls Precision co-molded conductive plastic potentiometers and position sensors are designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance to MIL-R-39023 and quality assurance MIL-1-45208A.
